HAIR CARE
Pre-Installation: We highly recommend washing and conditioning your extensions prior to install. Brush/Comb extensions from ends to wefts before washing. Keep zip ties in place during washing process. Products matter so please use quality sulfate free products. This will bring out the luster and wave/curl pattern (if purchased). Wash extensions in a downward motion in luke warm water for curls use cool water. Always detangle during condition process from ends to weft using a wide tooth comb/brush. Wring extensions in an upward motion to define wave/curl pattern. Allow hair to air dry to its natural state.
Daily Maintenance: ALWAYS use a heat protectant when applying heat to prevent damaging the hair. Avoid using heavy oils, it causes the hair to become oily and weigh down. We suggest using hair serum instead (Biosilk recommended). When purchasing curly texture please know this is high maintenance hair and requires plenty of moisture to keep hair moisturized and tamed! Spray hair with cool water for moisture. For a more tamed tighter curl we suggest using a curl cream and a hair diffuser on low heat.
Weekly Maintenance: We suggest conditioning your extensions weekly (especially curly hair). Conditioning your hair is important. Curly hair requires higher maintenance. Co-washing weekly will help with maintaining moisture to your hair and making it soft and manageable.
Bi-weekly: Shampoo your extensions with quality sulfate free shampoo at least every two weeks. This removes build up from products which can lead to tangling and shedding.
Night Routine: Sleep with a satin scarf, bonnet, and or satin pillow case at night to maintain moisture and keep hair from tangling. If you have wavy/curly hair we suggest twisting or braiding hair to maintain your pattern. Never sleep on wet hair.
Coloring/Bleaching: When bleaching or coloring extensions we advise you to consult with a professional colorist.
KEEP IN MIND THIS IS RAW HAIR AND REQUIRES MANDATORY MAINTENANCE.
If you receive your hair and it’s frizzy/untamed, please don’t be concerned. The hair needs to be washed and conditioned.
Please follow HAIR CARE Instructions.
